MONO Bass Gig Bag Add-On

Hello low end brothers (and sisters). I recently purchased a new MONO bass gig bag which I like very much however, after getting it home I noticed one missing very important feature that I use all of the time. There is no hand grip on the front neck area of the case. This makes lifting the case with a bass inside into and out of the car or onto a bed or similar surface very uncomfortable. I noticed that the case already had two D-Rings in the very place I would expect the hand grip to be. After a little checking, I found this really nice leather accordion handle on Amazon (approx $30). It is a perfect fit and solution to this problem. I already own a couple of Gator Pro-Go gig bags and they have a front facing hand grip which I love and use all of the time. You might want to purchase one of these as well. Trust me, you will thank me. Blessings to you all!!!

I just bought a new MM Stingray Special and while I really like the MM-stenciled Mono soft case that came it, I was disappointed to see that this case has no provisions for blackstraps.

I wish I could find an add-on solution for a backstrap that works as well as that handle add-on…

Wow, that's disappointing. Backstraps are part of the reason why I like gig bags as much as I do.

It really is!
I was really pleased to see the case when I opened the shipping carton. But it was 3 days later that I noticed, Sacre Bleu! No back straps!

But I have a $185 solution….:roflmao:

When I bought my Lull P5 18 months ago, they were out of the nice Mike Lull-stenciled Protec soft-shell cases, so I bought a un-stenciled Protec case.

I just learned that Lull has those cases available now, so I ordered one and I can use the un-stenciled case for the Stingray.

And maybe sell the MM Mono case to a Stingray owner that’s looking for such a case.

Or not…::roflmao:

(And sorry for the thread topic swerve!)
