Monoprice instrument cables

my boss bought monoprice stuff for our live sound setup. looked nice. felt nice. performed nice, for a few weeks. now they're falling apart and we're throwing them away one by one and making them buy us whirlwind stuff.

cheap cables are such a daily time drain on professional gigs. if you're only using them to plug in something one time and leave it, go for it, but if you need to use it day after day, might as well spend once

I used to buy things from Monoprice at my last job all the time. They make most of their stuff themselves and have great prices, great quality and great customer service. I have used their cables for multiple applications and have been satisfied. However I would not use them to plug your bass in with, as there are many reviews of their cables being microphonic and having issues when moved around. This is because they were not designed for this purpose. For using them to connect gear together they are great.

Actually, it looks like in the reviews lots of people use them for guitar. Maybe they changed something, or it was just the specific cable I was looking at that had issues.
