Thats what I thought at first, but a sustainer can't mute the strings as well as sustain them.

Man, the shot of the Gibby RD up above sure is droolworthy.

I like this Moog Guitar. I used to collect old analog Moog synths and accessories. Used to be, you could get them for a song in the 80s when Fairlights and MIDI stuff was coming on the market. Everything went digital and old vintage analog synths were suddenly worthless.

I finally sold them all off over the last couple years and did pretty well for myself as far as return on investment. What comes around goes around...

You guys need to check out the Gibson RD Artist bass, as Barkless implies. It has sustain and muting capabilities that make for some interesting effects---it is one cool bass and is one I will never part with.
