Moon Basses

Hey,bass bros.,
Does anyone have any info on Moon (Japan) basses? I picked one up fairly recently and think it is a really great instrument. There does not seem to be a lot of info out there (unless you can read Japanese). Are there any threads on TB regarding Moon basses? Anyone have firsthand experience? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

123eranoid, I got a Moon MBC bass also. It is really great. These seem to be less common in the USA than the Moon Jazz-style basses. They have Bart soapbars instead of jazz pickups. Really great sound for fusion stuff.

I know little about Moon basses other than Larry Graham plays them. I have recently seen some YouTube clips featuring the MBC 5 and MBC6, and the tone is killer! They remind me of Ken Smith basses. Very impressive!
