So, according to some of the posts in this thread, the more an entity is worth the more justifiable it is to steal from said entity.

Seems like so many here are full of...character.
Pfft. If that means I'm a hypothetical thief then I'm completely comfortable with that.
You are probably the last person that comment was referring to.![]()
Character - is doing the right thing, even when no-one is going to know.
Oh, ok. My bad. Have a beer.![]()
+1For all those who would keep it, what would you do if you were overcharged? I bet you'd be right back there it their face asking for your money back!
Isn't that a double standard? If they undercharge you, it's OK; if they overcharge you, it isn't?
I feel with moral issues (which this is), the price does not matter.
Either it's right or wrong. If they undercharged you $1,000 and you'd bring it to their attention, then you should also bring to their attention a $100 undercharge.

hell no, I wouldn't go back and pay for it.
if it was a small vendor/ single person, yeah, probably. However, I have no qualms with taking 100 bux from a multi-million (if not, billion) dollar corporation.
I still think you shouldn't bother to pay for your mistakes... in this case honestly doesn't pay off it makes you pay. Keep the thing do whatever you want with it. Donate it to a charity or whatever. Just don't go back and give 100 dollars to a large company that made a mistake.
I wouldn't steal outright such as in the blackout case, but if I've already got the goods I'm not going back to pay extra.
So...what youre saying is...that honesty should only be practised when you benefit from the outcome???
And if theres nothing in it for you...then why bother???
yeah...take that attitude through life with you buddy and see where it gets ya!!!....lol
Ps...I hope you practice safe sex.
humans only really do anything if it benefits them...
