Fanned, eh? Can't speak for you, but between 7 strings and the fan, that'd be a whole lot of adjustment at one time for me. 
She looks great, though I'm obviously curious about what all those knobs/buttons/switches/whatever do.

is it me or did he not use grain filler on the two darker colored woods.. You can see the clear has sunk into the grain?

Roscoe and Curbow have both offered single scale length basses with angled pickups. I didn't think they sounded bad or anything.
^ Yeah, if the neck pickup is angle at 7 dgrees and the bridge pickup is at 3 degress (or vice versa, I fogret) then you're supposed to get a more even response from each string.
depends on the sound you want. Many companies offer angled pickups with straight scale necks....
Not to the relative extent of what you'd end up with here. Plus, I'm not a fan of tilted pickups on straight basses either - I'd rather adjust my plucking-positions that have a non-reversable factor (i.e pickuprouting) imposed upon me.
Just think of the extended possibilities if you had this positioning and knew how to adjust your plucking position as well.

Wow, points just go flying over your head, do they? I'd rather have a by-default balanced output than be forced to switch position x-amount of centimeters to offset the tilt of a pickup doubiously positioned in the first place. It's like being forced to play while looking at a strobe - why make it harder than it needs to be for a non-existing "advantage"?
