More Pattitucci Guitar Band Music

Don't look, just listen.:)

That's kind of what I did at first. I had it playing while I was starting my morning routine. I was kinda digging the groove.... the "out there" guitar work.... the KILLER drum work.

Then I walked over and looked at the screen and thought "Wait.... are the three standing guys about to DIE?????" That drummer should call 911!!!!"

I'm just playing.

I will say this. He's getting a buttery old-school tone from that Yamaha for sure. Had I not seen the video I would have assumed something Fender that looked like it had been dragged behind a truck down a gravel road.

And he's actually quite good at old-school grooves too. I would have thought this kind of thing was miles away from his comfort zone. He LOOKS uncomfortable. But the tone and groove are great.

I do not believe there is anything involving a bass that John Pattitucci can't do exceedingly well.



Every time I see this clip of Pattitucci playing Urban Gospel, I get a big smile.
