MORTRIX MIDI foot controller

At the moment I am using an MC6 to control my effects and my Beatbuddy.
I have one issue, at the start of a measure I will sent a 'start transition' message to the Beatbuddy. The BB will play the transition and at the beginning of the next measure, it will go into the next drum pattern (like from verse to chorus). At this moment, I would also like to change my effects. To accomplish this on the MC6, I have to press it a second time to sent the change messages.
Is there a possibility to press the Mortrix once and it will sent some message immediately (e.g. 'BB transition') and some messages at the beginning of the next measure (e.g. 'change effects')?

Mortrix has the ability to apply a delay to any given message, this can either be a time value in milliseconds or at a specific subdivision of the MIDI clock. Currently there isn’t a send-on-next-downbeat option but that is a really good idea that I think would be worth adding. I’ve already added it to the list. Thanks.

(MC6 also has a message delay feature but I think it might be a milliseconds value, I can’t remember.)

Just seen the new videos Q, looks like some very polished and detailed work. Congratulations to you and Morton.

Last year when i was running a large board with many pedals and MIDI, I would have sold my MC-6 in a heartbeat for this. Now I have sold all but two pedals and moved to the QC I cant quite justify it at this stage but will be keeping any eye on what youre up to.

Have you got OSC on your development roadmap? I could see this being used by folks for gigs where it’s at FOH being used by the engineer.

Thanks.

OSC has been implemented since October (but isn’t something I use).

Quad Cortex controls are already in there too.

I visited the MORTRIX web page but found no list of supported manufacturers/devices.
Is there such a list somewhere ?
Yepp, I understand that it's a moving target but it would be nice to know what's in there already.
Every device currently available on the open source platform here will be in the device profiles:
openMIDI

Surfaces need to be built for each device that requires one and is a bit more labour.

There’s a reasonable amount of stuff in there already. However, the primary aim at the moment is to get the main feature set finished and tested. The device profile stuff is mostly just a data entry task, which will come closer to launch.

I noticed in the videos that the default screen on the Mortrix is a black background with white letters. Will it be possible to change this default to a white screen with black letters? I get a headache when starring at a black screen with white letters for more than 2 minutes.
Not presently. Feel free to add the suggestion via the Discord server features discussion thread.

I really, really want to see what this can do with a ZOIA and ML10X.

Hey all, Anyone wanna trade a Voodoo Labs Ground Controller Pro for a Mortrix? I also have a Skrydstrup SC-1 with 2 extensions.
Take your pick.
I have been staying in the loop about the Midiu.... I mean Mortrix. And patiently awaiting it's release. I knew the longer it took the better it would be. Quatschmacher being involved gave the product instant clout. I commend you Sir for your dedication and perseverance helping this project get to the people. It looks noice and spot on for bassists.
Anyway enuff of that. Anyone wanna trade?

Going to be a bit of a difficult trade as Mortrix still isn’t out in the wild yet. Hopefully not much longer.
