Most agressive pick ups?

Hi there!

I'm looking for a pick up, that has many harmonics, its agressive, and maybe loud, I hate flat sounding pick ups...

Soo, is it the P, J, MM, or HB style pickup are for me?

And and active, or higher output pickup would be better for me?

All of the above pickups can give you what you are looking for. It is a matter of bass design. I do find passive P-bass pickups to have an edge for aggressive tones but again the design of the bass lends itself to the overall tone. Different wood choises for bass yield different tonal results.
