Most beautiful bass?

Mine is just the tip of the iceberg:

I used to not care for the design so much on a visual level. But lately, they've really been growing on me.

Mine's gotten a bunch of compliments already and a couple insults. (I figure if someone out there doesn't hate it, you're not doing something right. :D)

Evenin' all,

A few days ago I stumbled upon a picture of a Wal Mk III with a (I think) spalted maple top. Maaaaaannnn, that must've been the most beautiful bass I've ever seen! I love it, it has a sort of rugged solidity to it you know? the two (or actually ten) pups are like two huge engines or powerplants something, and the spalted maple top... yum!

That's my bass! Glad you like it :bassist:

i still dont know what this bass is but its gorgeous, not as beautiful as say a nice wyn or a warwick custom but the shaping on this one is amazing. My all time favorite has to go to the wahlbrink aphrodite 6 elements. Its use of mainly wenge and various figured maples jsut works perfectly and its white ebony fretboard and pick up cover are just icing on the already perfect cake, I'd be in heaven with a 5 string version of this beauty.
