Most beautiful bass?

A few days ago I stumbled upon a picture of a Wal Mk III with a (I think) spalted maple top. Maaaaaannnn, that must've been the most beautiful bass I've ever seen! I love it, it has a sort of rugged solidity to it you know? the two (or actually ten) pups are like two huge engines or powerplants something, and the spalted maple top... yum!

Now, I just wanted to share this pic with you, and ask you what the most beautiful bass is you've ever seen. And I want pictures!

Oh by the by, I didn't bother to do a search to see if this kind of thread had been made before. I almost can't imagine it hasn't. Thing is, the nature of this thread should give us different pictures everytime, so...

That is the best looking Wal I've ever seen. I'm a sucker for spalted maple. Sadly, none of my basses have it...

that is what my Daughter and Builder decided on....shows more and sounds great !!!!

I knooooooooow! Same here! If only we could play this spalted Wal with a spalted maple pick, through spalted maple cables into a spalted maple Ampeg, before a spalted maple crowd...
