Most Comfortable Body shape

I just imagined a six string sg bass and it shattered my entire universe.

MM Sterling or Bongo.

+1 on both. I sold my Bongo 5 last year but it was as ergonomic as hell. Felt great to play for such a large size bass.

I played a Sterling for the first time last week and now one is on its way to me in a trade. It felt perfect as soon as I strapped it on.

Fender Jazz and P basses are comfortable but can be heavy.

The bongo bass is extremely comfortable, but I remember finding it heavy. (I haven't played one in a while, maybe someone who owns one could help)

I hear a bunch of people speaking up for the bongo but I have to disagree. It's comfortable especially for how it looks but I didn't find it among the most comfortable basses I've played. Though maybe it's because I'm a smaller guy.
I think the sterling shapes are really amazing, anything with really well rounded contours that's balanced and light. Hell maybe a custom bass designer will pipe up and share some info they use to tailor basses to individual customers.

Wow that's beautiful. I like the the oblique angle of the lower bout, but it looks like it might come up a little high where I rest my arm> Do you find that at all? BTW what wood is the neck made out of?

No the body has a nice contour and the with the 'belly cut' in the back it fits like a glove. The neck is mostly wenge (hard to see under the teal finish).

Contour everything to your knees and your belly and your arm. Long upper horn for no neck dive and large lower horn cutaway for fret acess. You could also go David King with a body-length top depression for a thumb rest.
