I forgot the old flats or rounds issue, but since many agree that by buying another bass you can have both, harmony was achieved. Also, would world peace ensue if I bought a jazz bass, p bass, stingray and ric and string half with flats and the other with rounds?

Yes, yes it would, so get with it man!

The world is burning while you sit here procrastinating!

IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!

I thought it was apparent by now that all problems on TB can be solved by buying another bass and firing the drummer

Holy moley, OP. I voted "5vs4" but it wouldn't have made a flicker in my eyelids if I'd seen an option for "What on Earth have you bought more than one bass for? I shall now quote you Proverbs 6:32-35 thus
He who commits [multiple bass purchasing] is devoid of sense; only one who would destroy himself does such a thing. He will meet with disease and disgrace; his reproach will never be expunged. The fury of the [Fender Precision owner] will be passionate; he will show no pity on his day of vengeance. He will not have regard for any ransom; he will refuse your bribe, however great.
etc, etc,..."
Admittedly, a long option to put in a poll, but I had to throw myself on the grenade in one thread so others could escape unharmed(ish)

Too many basses?

Never can have too much body armor.
Finally.

Others have mentioned it too: Class-D amplifiers vs. Class A/B (solid state) amps. Some people seem to think despite specs to the contrary, that class-D bass amps are somehow not as powerful or are 'slower' to respond, blah blah blah... :cautious:

"Mustang Sally" is clearly the most divisive cover tune.
