Most Embarrassing Cd you ever bought

Well it was vinyl, so that tells you it was a while ago, it was a bass player with one of the world's greatest rock bands and at the time it seemed like a good idea to buy it.

Monkey Grip Glue - Bill Wyman

Crap title and definitley some of the most boring music ever recorded.

Few years after i bought it I contacted a record collector and asked if he was interstested in it. He asked if I had listened to it and after I told him I had he then aksed me to explain why on earth would anyone want to buy it. I had no answer.

there is no embarrassing cd.

if you dig it, why should you care what others think?
I agree. Just wanted to add: Even though you loved it at first, you might not dig it anymore, you might in fact hate it... still no reason for embarrassment. Times change, people change, tastes change, you change. Just deal with it and accept that you once perhaps liked that particular music.

Now, faking an identity by buying music you don't really like, but your friends might (or those you wish to be friends with), is different. However, at a certain point in life, that's not an unnatural thing to do.

Oh man, I knew this moment would come some day:

Pablo Cruise - Worlds Away

I saw this band perform on TV in the 80's (I think it was the Old Grey Whistle Test on BBC2). And I went out and bought this album because I thought the music was cool.

To my credit: I only played the album once, never touched it again.

You know, I feel kinda relieved now, like a new life has begun. Thanks for starting this thread.

ok, this is good, in my naive younger days, I had no shame, or taste for that matter.

not in any such ranking order....but

Peanut Butter Headphones....ummm. yes the bands name is that, not sure ofr the title.I thought it was gonna be good psycadelic headphone music. it was some horrid death metal country cd. :help:

Ted Nugent Wango Tango. sorry...its just plain weak and embarrasing.

Mariah Carey , MTV's unplugged cd. . no comment :rollno:

The Judds Box set. I loved the Mom, shes a red head and one hott Momma, Ashley Judd is hot too

and my worst. :hiding: Debbie Gibson..cant recall the name..thank God! but I cranked the disc at my work all the time. I must have been going thru a phase. I quit drugs then...and quickly started back so I could become hip again.

now chemical free, I live for the finer things in life, like YES, Rush, The Flower Kings, Old Genesis, Lord Only ( Blatant Plug alert!!!) andyhtuing woth Tony Levin on it. Did I mention YES? :D

Wow I always thought I was the only person on this board who liked the Flower Kings. Well it's love/hate really, some stuff I cant stand, and the vocals are horrid/lame (cant write lyrics for the most part. but gosh darn can their bassist ever groove, he's nuts, some of their stuff really blows me away.
