I played this the other night (cowbell first - since there's actually no bass line - then switched to bass). Played other African and Caribbean stuff that would be obscure to most people.
Probably the Victoria Williams song "Frying Pan" the version done by Evan Dando and the Lemonheads for the Sweet Relief album. It's all acoustic but we added bass and drums to fill it out.
Pink Floyd "Fearless" off the Meddle album.
Vital Signs by Rush. Anyone who's a Rush fan knows this song but absolutely NO ONE else does. LOL
In my teenage years, I played guitar in an original progressive band and I used to open some song with Broon's Bane..
I was in a cartoon song cover band so it's a matter of picking which cartoon song was the most obscure. I don't know - these two were always crowd favs though:

my original band I was in ages ago only ever performed a few covers -- 'land of confusion', rush's 'dreamline' and more obscurely, smashing pumpkins' 'stand inside your love.'
