Most overused words by bassists

Hi my name is Samantha Cay Buchanan and this is why Im a better bass player then you!
For starters my tone is the best from every angle, like when Im grooving in the pocket with some old jazz cats, its all growl mwah city. Then when Im doing a solo I get that funky straight forward tone with loads of high mids and a shredding sound that cuts through the mix like none other.
Sometimes I play metal and when I do its on the best bass for metal.
I cant tell you what it is but what I can tell you is that it has low end for days.
One time at band camp my guitard broke his to front teeth because my bass tone was so heavy.
So now when I see him we have to pay homage to my steroid infused best bass for metal. Anyways thats just a taste of what Im bring in and you all best recognize that I gots chops for weeks. Im a real pro yall, like flea only better.
Thats why Im the best, keeping it real, keeping it old school, I be real yall.

I don't have an overused phrase but instead an overused response to an annoyingly frequent question:
Non-Musician:"What do you play?"
Me:"I play bass."
Non-Musician:"Which one is that?"
Me:":scowl:...It's like a guitar but it's better."

"my bass growls" : unlikley given that its a bit of wood not a tiger
"plays like butter": so a crap bass would play like what? cheese?

"road worn/relic/patina" or to give it the correct name.... knackered

I think this thread is unfair. People keep saying "punchy" is overused, but overused implies that the word should be used less. So how else do you describe a punchy tone?
And if you're not supposed to talk about tone, what are you supposed to talk about?

Also has anyone said "meaty" yet? Because that's used way more than it should be (never).
