I'm a newb guilty of starting yet another "what's the best bass for metal thread." (oh, the shame:o) But it never got heated. In fact I've yet to get a strongly felt opinion. Everybody's like "well, it depends" or "you'll just have to try them out," etc. As a newb, I like hearing strong opinions based on personal experience. Somebody link me up with a fiery discussion on metal bass, please!
