I would have to agree, Bela and Victor alone could be considered the greatest virtuoso's on their respective instrument. I would go as far to say that they are definately the best all around player that their respective instruments have ever seen.

I find this kind of thread the least useful in that there are potentially hundreds of thousands of options and there's no earthly way that anyone can know them all and have an objective opinion. I have no favorite band (though I am very partial to Rush that comes and goes). And I have no-one I would vote as "best" or "most talented" or whatever.

Art is not a ****ing competition.
