mounted camera on headstock

so the other night while playing a show i wanted to mount a camera on the headstock of my bass. the audio is naturally horrible since the camera was on stage with all the sound. the camera is an action shot camera cost around $50, just figured I'd share it in case anyone else was having the same idea but was afraid if it was worth it.

i tryed that in the experimental runs your hand blocks quite a bit of the shot still looks pretty cool though.

it sits on an adapter that you can pretty much point wherever you want depending on how you mount it

haha its called Action Shot cam, seen commercial for it looked it up found it located with the toys. no i doesnt have ext. mic input, gonna sync it up with foh mixes in the future on computer see how that goes.

I've seen that done in videos from the '80s onwards with guitars, basses and once on a drumstick. First time I saw it, I wanted to do it too.

Cool concept! I recently watched a David Bowie cover on YouTube that incorporated the same thing
