Would probably be easier to get good sound from the FOH and mix that with the video afterwards.

plan on grabbing foh mix next show and doing just that, and also had the idea of a go pro but seemed a little to heavy and bulky for the headstock and i didnt want to chance breaking an expensive camera

i seen it about 10 years ago always wanted to do it but wasnt confident enough in my bass playin skills to do it then. (still not really confident, but thats what keeps me trying new stuff)

I've seen that done in videos from the '80s onwards with guitars, basses and once on a drumstick. First time I saw it, I wanted to do it too.

the camera came with a couple different mounts, i simply modded one and used electrical tape wrapped around it and the headstock.

We played FUBAR once with Rhino Bucket and Fallujah. Pretty decent place to play as long as you're in the big room. Pretty good house system. I gave the sound guy $20. Still sounded like mud. lol
