Mr. Classic II fretless in progress

hello my dear craftsmen
this is a Mr Classic 4 string fretless
body... cherry with whole pyramid blocks
top....flamed maple
neck...maple/walnut
fretboard...wenge with maple fretlines and epoxy coated
colour of the top is indigo blue but as it is shot under the neon light doesn't appear so, binding is still muddy and it'll be cleaned when the burst will be applied

Yes, it'd be interesting to find how that works out. But just as much, I'd like to hear your thoughts on what you expect from this design style, besides the additional benefit of a little less weight.

what are you using to carve the top? i see a chisel or gouge of some sort in the pic, but i can't see the tip.

first i roughly carve it with a router to save some time, then i use a convex chisel and scrapers

here are some photos of finished Mr.Classic II archtop, as it looks now, the colour is much diferent than on photos shoot before because of an angle of shooting, and the frets are instaled due to a customers wish

They look great! I'm not sure where has the blue gone, but that is okay too.

You could take some full-bass shots, it's hard to get the overall picture this way.
