MSN vs Yahoo!!

Let me just say that I highly prefer MSN over Yahoo, but carrots is always the right way to go.
Although I had to get used to the new MSN, as well as the new Windows Media Player. It seems that Microsoft wanted to hide the options! I have to go hunting for it, it's ridiculous.
However, Yahoo looks like it's pregnant.

Both pieces of garbage. I use a small local ISP and I get superb service. Both MS and Yahoo are notorious for their lack of service. They load your computer with crap and they are very difficult to get rid of. You can throw AOL in the same bag with them and a few rocks and toss them all in the river AFAIAC. IMHO, of course.
The thinner, the better. I use an older version of AIM, with all the ads hacked out.

msn all day all the way. yahoo just collects hundreds of junk email all day. haven't checked it in months.
yahoo messenger i only keep it on my pc cause a couple of my friends don't use msn messenger. which is a pity.

Since all of my friends are strewn amognst MSN, Yahoo, and AIM (most are on AIM), I use Trillian as my messenger. I could add ICQ too, but I don't know anyone on there. Do people still use ICQ?

ICQ is still surprisingly popular in Asia and in some Eastern European countries, even though hardly anybody in the West uses it any more. Shame really, it had some features that were well ahead of its time... the user search is still better than any of its competitors.
I have MSN, Yahoo, and AIM (two of each; one for friends/personal and the other for pubic/forum use). However, I do not use any of their applications to run them. I use Adium X (for Mac only). Sometimes I'll use iChat with my AIM log in, but only if I'm doing file sharing or audio/video chat with another mac user.
