It's Rodney Whitaker, right you are. I've heard wonderful things about Mr. Budrow. Also within the bass studio (Orchestral + Jazz) they strive for a lot of overlap, if you're super interested theres a article about this in Music Notes the college of music's magazine.

I'm considering going to MSU next year. I got into both schools I applied to UM + MSU, it would be for Jazz primarily though.
