Just got this beauty after wanting a MTD for a long time. It's everything these fantastic instruments are said to be. Beautiful to look at, amazing tone, fantastic to play... a masterpiece.
This one is an Ash body with Ash neck and highly figured Birdseye maple fingerboard. Exquisite buckeye burl top. MTD World Logo. Stunning to look at. It's in excellent condition. Pickup covers have some wear that Bartolini covers get. There is a tiny ding on end of headstock. See pics. Other than that its pretty much in like-new condition. Capable of super low action. Original MTD hardshell case is in great condition too. No tears, just slight wear.
But I find myself wondering what a Wenge neck/Wenge fingerboard MTD would be like and I think I'd like to try one. So I'm possibly interested in trading for a MTD with Wenge neck/board. I really prefer 34" scale basses so if you have a 34" MTD I'd be super interested. Only other trade interests would be pre-Gibson Tobias. But I reserve the right to pull this ad.
