LOL!!!

That's the thing... the really unusual ones will either linger for a LONG time or they go right away. Just no predictin' it. :)

I don't know how many others really like this, but I completely dig this crazy Sad buckeye burl a lot more than just about any spalted maple I've seen... but not necessarily more than some of the MTDs I've seen.

If higher-end MTDs sound anything like the '91 Tobias 6 fretless I owned, I think I would opt for a Sad... just not a purple one.

Oh, you mean finish color effects tone? Kind of like nitro-cellulose lacquer, as mentioned in another thread?:eyebrow: :rollno: :p
