MTD Kingston artist new strings?

read through a bunch of posts and forums. Figured its just easier to ask those who may be using currently..

Just purchased a used Mtd Kingston Artist 4 string and would like a recommendation of strings as far as being closest to stock size so i don't have to mess with the intonation and can just put them on and play. I'm awful with tools and having to do repairs.

Basically i play punk and NY hardcore with a pick these days after breaking all my fingers in a motorcycle accident. Just cant move um like I used to, but I'm still playing so that's a plus.

I'm just an average player with basic skills that wants a decent sounding set of strings to compliment my new amber beauty. In the past it was easier to just grab the $10 strings on sale then actually care about what I was playing, now it is..

thanks in advance.

Sorry, but I just gotta say it. If you can't adjust your bridge or truss rod.. both of which you need check with every string change...find another hobby. Either that or just pay somebody to change your strings for you.

Basically what you're saying is.."I want to drive a car, but I can't possibly put gas in it. I just want to get in and drive."

BUT, to actually answer your question..put MTD strings on it!
