MTD Z6 or EBMM Bongo 6?

Which one is better?
I'm playing metal, progressive metal, alternative, jazz (alone lol).
Which one is the bass for me?

I have read a couple of threads about the versatility of the Bongo 6. I'm still not solid on my decision with my Bongo 6. I don't know if they were true. A $1890(EBMM) bass vs a $1380(MTD) bass.
I can't test the Bongo 6 nor the MTD myself since I am in a country with no MTD/EBMM for sale. Sad. :hmm:

HELP! :bassist:

I can't speak to the 6 strings but I have owned more than one of each bass in the 5-string version. The Bongo is worth the additional money, specifically in the areas of:

1) Better sounding electronics
2) Higher quality materials
3) Overall feel

The MTD Z's are nice enough instruments but most people immediately want to change the electronics to improve the tone.

The Bongo's 4-band preamp makes those kind of discussions unnecessary.
