Much pedals for home playing?

I have the Joyo JP1 power unit, has 8 x 9V 100mA and 2 x 18V, cost $69 AU

I have 4 MXR pedals, they are great quality. i don't have that one though. If you don't need to record or play live, you don't need a DI.
Do you need a pre amp then? The Sansamp ones are great, you don't HAVE to use the DI part of it.I'm sure that MXR one is great too, I love their stuff.
MXR... Which ones?

MXR... Which ones?
M87 Bass Compressor - love love love it to death!

M101 Phase 90 - found it 2nd hand for $69 - craps all over my 80s Boss Phaser

M83 Bass Chorus Deluxe - superb chorus, with a bonus flanger switch. Craps all over my Boss CEB3 Chorus

M135 Smart Gate - to quieten the noise from the dirt pedals, and occasional noise from the Sansamp PBDDI

want the Bass OD, the M80 DI and the M81 Preamp,oh and the Octaver too. I'd happily go all MXR,love their look and quality.
