Wow, that is beautiful. The fingerboard is especially cool. I got to try a birdsong bliss (I think, it was fretted with a scroll) in a store the other day, never heard a Delano pickup. It sounded really good.

beautiful bass 77stingray... I understand why you'd seriously think of another Muckelroy for a fretless.

FWIW, I really like the Delano Xtender in my Bee. Just curious, what led you to change the specs from the Xtenders to the SBCs?

Thanks! Brady called me and said everyone was sold out of them at the time. He was unable to find any on the internet I guess. I could have waited, but I just decided to go with the SBC's as I've heard good things about them. I am considering the xtenders again if I can ever afford that fretless. Brady has a clip of him playing one of his fretless basses with kent armstrong pickups and it sounded awesome as well. I also like Barts for fretless, so many options!

Final Picture. It should arrive tomorrow! Here is what Brady posted about the bass:
This is a 32" scale HMC model. Neck through construction with a one piece maple neck, katalox fingerboard and black walnut wings. Delano SBC soaobars and an Aguilar OBP2 preamp. Controls are master volume/ passive tone stack, pickup blend and bass/ treble stack (+/-). There are two mini toggles for series/ parallel switching and an active / passive switch. Crazy good sounding/ effortless playability/ balances like a dream.
