Hmmmm,... how I do use this app?
I just have a command prompt with no indication of what to type and nothing that I can click on (that I can see) that can start the process of examining audio.

You probably have GNU Octave (icon is a colored 3D plot). That's a mathematics package / programming language, and not the same app Lyckydog mentioned.

What I see a lot in the NY rooms I frequent or play in (iBeam, for example), are homemade acoustic panels. See for example http://acousticsfreq.com/blog/?p=62 . It requires a bit of experimenting where to put or hang them, but it is cheap and it really helps.

I do have an iPad but was trying to do this with my Samsung S3. I'll just get the iPad and do it that way since I see that this particular RTA hasn't been converted to Android.
I'm really intrigued with the idea of bass traps. The problem is that I'm not handy and the pro stuff costs hundreds, even thousands. Another handicap is that the room is only 9' wide and has a ceiling that is 6'7" high.
I have concrete floors as well, but I have a plastic membrane on top of it, then some plywood on top of that, and then carpet on top of *that.*
