Depends on how extreme you want but the best muff styled pedal I've ever used was the Stone Deaf Fig Fumb. Was so much fun to use and gave the most accurate replica of Song 2 by Blur I've ever heard.

My two suggestions - Swollen Pickle and Pharaoh Supreme.
The Swollen Pickle is incredibly versatile and can be set to do just about any flavor of muff, if you're willing to tweak it to your rig. It's also relatively cheap used, about $80 plus shipping. A great muff that could end your search before getting into boutique territory.
The Pharaoh Supreme is by far my favorite fuzz. (Pickle is second). It is the most versatile fuzz I've ever seen, even moreso than the Pickle. Depending on how much you want to tweak, this can be good or bad. I love tweaking, and it pays off in this pedal. It has plenty of clipping options to vary the tone, as well as all sorts of tweaks to a standard muff. It's a bit pricey, but worth it. Hard to find used.
Added bonus if you play guitar - both pedals also rip on the skinny strings!
Also, bringing up muffs here is guaranteed to get plenty of responses! You must be new around these parts, so welcome to TB!

I have a robot factory tentacle love super fuzz and the bass OFD.. Never liked muff fuzz in my band setting but if I was aiming for a stoner band or something I reckon both of these would fit the bill for good tone and both have blends!
I'm a big fan of the ehx Deluxe Bass Big Muff. I love mine, and have owned three
The Pickle has TONS of sounds in it. The internal trim pots really change up the possibilities. I can get it to sound almost identical to many of my favorite Pharaoh settings. I just happen to think the Pharaoh is slightly better, but many people keep the Pickle. If I hadn't tried a Pharaoh first, I would be satisfied with the Pickle.I remember looking at the Pharaoh fuzzes when I was only playing guitar. My favorite living guitarist use it on tour.
Will absolutely be doing some research on it!
Pickle sounds interesting but really hairy, maybe a bit too much.
This. Avoid the regular Bass Big Muff it has a lto of quirks. The Deluxe model fixes them and has a noise gate which is outright vital if you want to make these things sound good. The low/hi filters are a nice addition too.
Now the thing i will state is that I personally only use fuzz for lightly dirting up my sound, i don't play death metal, so I like a fuzz wherein I can maintain my low end and overall tone. The DBBM kind of does that pretty well. I advise you try pedals liek this before buying if possible, fuzz pedals are typical love/hate for most people. I personally, while keeping a big muff on my board, typically distort either with an English muff'n or if I want to solo, a Metal Muff which works suprisingly well with a bass if combined with a good compressor.

Just get a JOYO Voodoo octave it's a super cheap clone of a foxx tone machine (or something similar) for under $50 AUD
But it's not a muff, and it's not exactly stellar on bass without some mods (had one). If you're gonna go the "inexpensive" clone route, I'd probably suggest the Moen Fuzz Moo - under $40 USD and it's a knockoff of the Sovtek Green Russian Muff. There are a few vids of it demo'ed with bass, and a couple threads here on it where it got some favorable reviews IIRC.
How well could a fuzz work with a B3K?
What mods did you do to the JOYO?
