Mullard/GE 12AX7 tubes?

So the sound company that I work for was doing an install at a church today. While we were cleaning out their old "audio closet," I found three tubes. The tubes say GE Electric 12AX7 made in USA. The boxes say Mullard on them. The pastor at the church said that they were at least 40 years old and completely unused. Then he told me I could have them! I know they were unused because I broke the tape seal on the bigger box that the three were in. Can anyone tell me anything about these tubes? Does anyone know what they might be worth?

GE 12AX7s are great tubes, but they weren't packaged in Mullard boxes. Check ebay for the market value of these tubes, but be aware that there were several different eras for these tubes (sort of like Fender basses!), and that can make all the difference in value.

All US made tubes are pretty good in terms of consistency.
As a WAG, they may be worth $100 for the three as the boxes are non original and there I gather you don't have a tube tester to measure and prove them.

Sell them, or use them. Tubes are always a nice gift.
