If a compressor is your main concern my best 2 suggestions is check out one of the many Line 6 Bass POD units or an oldie but goodie Digitech BP-8.

As someone else has said, the Line 6 Pod XT is very good by all accounts - comes in a rack or floor version too iirc.
I have a Korg AX3000B, which I like very much indeed, although I have a couple of quibbles with it. Has a built-in compressor, but how that compares to a standalone unit I have no idea.

FWIW - I had an EBS Multicomp which was great as a set and forget device in your chain. Then one day I decided to sell off all my individual (mostly high-end) pedals in lieu of a multi-effects. I settled on the Boss GT-10B, Then I decided that was overkill as I really don't use 90% of the effects available.
The setup I'm going with next is a BBE Opto Stomp > Tech21 VT Bass > Zoom B2.1u (using the Tuner, Wah, Modulation, Delay, Reverb and Noise Reduction only). To me I wanted an individual set-and-forget compressor and a solid tone shaper, then add flavor if I needed it. All will live happily on a Pedaltrain Mini.
I should have this stuff in the next week. Hopefully, it will be all I'll ever need again. But we all know how that goes.

IME, *Pro* & *Multi-effect* lean toward being contradictory terms. That said, as stated in your other thread, I like my B2.1u. Live I run a patch w/a slight volume boost and a touch of compression. Suits my tin ears.
There is no comparison. I think just about anything is better than the Korg's compressor.
To the OP, Zoom units gets good reviews in general (as already apparent in this thread

Because multis usually cut corners in each individual effect to get as many as possible into the box, which appeals to newer, less-experienced players(no offense; we all have to start somewhere). Pros often have more-focussed wants in this direction & will go for something that does moreles exactly what they want, w/o frills or unneccesary options. Again, in my experience.
I think Eventide and T.C. Electronics make "pro" rack mount multis, T.C. also makes the Nova system which looks pretty good but isn't exactly tailored for bass. Most people seem to prefer analog effects over the digital ones in most multis. Some people are really into modeling, Line 6 is pretty strong in that department, others just the effects. Multis are good bang for buck but single pedals can be individually selected to taste, which is a long road in and of itself. It very much depends on what you like. I get by just fine with an overdrive, a filter, a compressor and a tuner...oh, and a wicked nice preamp. But I do think about getting a good delay a lot. I wouldn't buy another multi because I'm just not interested in chorus, flange, ping pong, pitch shift, etc.

Do you use it? Have you something to say about it? Does its compressor have the same problems I found in the Nova Dynamics pedal?

Well I detail it pretty thoroughly in my review, see my sig line. Short version: the "studio" mode loses lows and the "stomp" mode has a digital glitch noise.
