I should also note that I don't expect to actually like the majority of the effects in a multi-fx unit. My main priority is that I can find at least 1 or 2 models in each category that I really like. The idea is to 'replace' a few individual pedals, not a monstrous 100 effect pedal board. In reality, I would NOT allow myself to buy more than 2 of any single type of pedal. If I can _replace_ 5-$100 pedals, then the multi-fx unit already paid for itself.
Relating to individual pedals, is there any way to wire them all up to a central hub/switch that will allow you to change the pedal order without physically doing so? i.e. have pedals A-B-C-D in a preconfigured switch that will allow you to switch between various pedal orders of choice: A-B-D-C, D-A-B-C, B-A-D-C, etc...
