Multi Scale string recommendations?

Hey there fellow bringers of the thunder, happy Friday! Anyone with gigs, go out there and kill it!
Wanted to get opinions/options/links about multiscale strings. I feel like options and availability are still somewhat limited despite this not really being a "new thing". So, I have a Spector Dimension NS Multiscale and it seems all I'm reliably able to find are what Spector themselves put out (rebrand?). I always get their 45-130 nickel set. Ideally I'd like to try some stainless (love that zing) tapered strings out to .135 for the B, as we drop to A. But I'm ok with nickels, just would like to put more bounce in that low string. What are y'all using in this case?

There are lots of options...

Dingwall Long Scale Strings. Fret nation also does custom Dunlop Super Bright and SIT sets specific for Dingwall, which will work with your spector.

I run the payson stainless on my Dingwall ABZ and love them for that bass.
I am running the DR Dragon skin nickel on my Spector Dimension and like them, but have a set of SIT arriving next week to try out.

Good Luck!

Payson has lots of gauges, and will put together sets. Just email your requests if you don’t see exactly what you want on the website.

He’s able to do singles as well.

I’m a big fan of the Payson nickel rounds. He put together and extra light set for me, perfect on the longscale Dingwalls.

Fretnation is up on all things multi scale.

I’ve run lots of strings on my longscale Dingwalls. There are lots of choices.

Just switched from DR High Beams mediums to DR Dragon Skin multi-scale nickels on my multi-scale Ibanez Soundgear SRMS805. So far, so good. I was worried about the Low B... since it was .125 on Dragon Skin set and the High Beam had a .130... but it sounds nice. Like the tapered ends on the Dragon Skins. Dragon Skins feel smoother than the High Beams... just hope they last as long.

Mine to share how the Dragon nickel tone vs Hi beam ?

Had to slightly raise some of the saddles on the bridge because of tapered ends. I like super low action on my Ibanez Soundgears. The tone is almost exactly like the High Beams. Dragon strings feel smoother than high beams since they are nickel instead steel. Piano like round wound tone that I adore on rounds. Longevity is what I'm concerned about. Don't know yet if Dragons will have the life span of high beams. Good highs, mids and lows from neck and bridge humbucker active bart clones.

Thanks for sharing. I own the SRMS725 and the Fluence pickup sound quite hifi modern than BH2 . The MID from Pure blue still not enough to fill the blank and heft for Fluence . I have a set of GHS flat on the way actually, but will consider with Dragon Skin Nickel next.....

Wish EB announce Xtra long Cobalt flat that fit 35 scale bass guitar @ 38' string length.
