Bombardment is now part of my daily vernacular. Ty @P. Aaron lol. Finished my 3rd and final round of immunotherapy yesterday. Surgery the 17th. Then the bombardment commences.
My best friend and accountability partner Barney Wiget lost his marriage, and his health to a broken neck and bone marrow cancer and he was fired by the church he started in a period of two months. The doctors didn't give him much of chance of surviving. Ten years later he is in remission, still kicking and in thriving in his own way.
He is a very funny guy and can make me laugh while he is describing chemo treatments . We still get together once a week.
This is the book he wrote about that experience:
The Other End of the Dark: (A Memoir About Divorce, Cancer, and Things God Does Anyway) - Kindle edition by Wiget, Barney. Religion & Spirituality Kindle eBooks @ Amazon.com.
