Watching that video, I’m surprised that someone in some other thread posted that one of the issues leading to G&L’s downfall was that they wouldn’t let go of that friggin’ Leo Fender legacy….

Instead, I would have liked to see a combination of old and new. A stingray special with 2 band EQ, mutes and maybe gold hardware? And a classy, special logo with a 50 of some type, maybe also in gold outline.

Well, they sold all 50 in 24 hours so some people must like them
My guess seeing in person may be a different experience
Molten seems it may appeal to the more conservative
Yes the Sunburst with Tort crowd it's a no go 50th Stingray won't match to there playing 50yr old songs

It's wild, it's funky, it's different. Whatever man, if people dig it that's cool. It does make me *SLIGHTLY* nostalgic for my old StingRays.
50 of the liquid gold and something like 300 of the other gold.
I want to believe they saw my CDE all gold stingray come through the factory and were inspired for their 50th anniversary model. But then I remembered gold is the color for 50-year wedding anniversary’s. (Ngl I wish I had that gold pickup cover for mine…and maybe the pickguard)
