Smart move. I think you're on your way towards a solution.

I am taking it to local luthier.

Thanks, i measured the voltage and it is good: above 9VDC. but sounds poor. I am taking it to local luthier. i live in Brasil and EBMM told me no support locally.
This may be already posted somewhere on the boards, but the search function has failed me if it is....
How exactly do I adjust the pole pieces on my Stingray pickup?
Do I need some sort of special tool? Do I need to unscrew the pickup from the body first?
I only need to adjust the four in the middle, they are quite high and are getting in the way of my fingers and my pick.
They are not adjustable. Only the overall pickup height is adjustable.

Well, poop. There's no way to adjust them if they are slightly unevenly staggered? Will they adjust themselves according to the pickup height? Am I just going to have to wait for your Wal clone to be completely satisfied?![]()
Does the Nordstrand 4.3 remove the "clank" caused by low action ? Because i like it XD
Could i get something like a "Flea sound" by equipping it on a Sterling?
Has anyone pulled apart the pre in a ray34 classic active (ie 2 band pre) yet and could tell me if it's the same as a pre-EB or a Classic 'ray preamp?
I was thinking either Bartolini, Duncan or Delano, I've read that the Nordies are a bit dark.
