Music Man Stingray Special

So I've been considering this guitar

I am coming from a Fender Jazz Geddy Lee. I have not been able to play a Music Man much. Just some noodleing at GC. I do know the quality of MM. My son has a cutlass guitar. Great instrument. So I am wondering what all of you guys think. If you can compare and contrast the Jazz and the Stingray.

I played a Jazz for years. On a whim I tried a cheap SUB Ray4 and discovered it was the sound I had been trying to get from my Jazz for years. Sort of a thicker, more meaty version of the bridge PU in the J.

Sold the J, built a Warmoth MM clone with a J-width neck, Nordstrand PU and an East preamp. I have zero regrets!

The real MM will probably have a wider neck than your Jazz so be warned.
