Does anyone know what the deal is with the output for these pickups? The neck shows 5.7K ohms. Is that right? Seems really low. I was looking at some similar big pole pickups by Dragonfire, same thing. Really low ohms. Is there something unique about these kinds of pickups that causes this low reading?
I ask because I was considering trying a big pole neck pickup to put in my J bass, to pair with a quarter pounder-style bridge pickup. I was just wondering if the big pole would be too weak. Can anyone shed some light on this? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
