Music Scrolling foot pedal for iPad

I use an iPad for all my live gigs. I find frequently that parts are written out where theres a page turn just at the perfectly wrong place or no real thought as to making life easier and putting the page turns on say a 4 measure rest. Ive never really settled in with a foot pedal that flips to the next page in an instant and have of course done that fatal thing of flipping two pages ahead by accident.

Ive gotten very adept at scrolling with my finger (like our pianist does) just to nudge the page down to straddle two pages play a difficult bit ...and then scroll when theres a suitable break.

So Im just wondering if there are foot pedals that allow perhaps a soft press to scroll up and down rather than page flip ?

I use BandHelper to manage my scores, charts, songs, sets and gigs. One very nice feature is the ability to put position markers wherever you want in the score or chart. Then you can use a “page turner” to take you to the next (or previous) marker. You are not limited to page breaks. I like to divide my scores into sections (intro, verse, chorus, etc.). A tap on the page turner takes me the next section.

I have used several of them. I still use the Coda Stomp. It has a scroll mode and is easy to switch modes on (single button on the front). Downside is that it is significantly more stable on a pedalboard (fine if you use a pedalboard; you may prefer the PageFlip brand if you do not).

Others I have had:
PageFlip Dragonfly - this one was also mode changeable and has 4 buttons. Did not need a pedalboard to be stable and has silent operation. Would be my favorite if it did not break just after the warranty ended (1 year of use).

Airturn BT500 - have the 2 and 4 button versions. Loudest clicks of the bunch. Also the most difficult of the three to change settings on. No issues with durability.

I bought one of these and have used it for several months and it has been flawless with Page turning on my iPad with Forscore

What app are you using? ForScore used to (I'm not sure if it does anymore) have a "half page" page turn option. You get towards the end of the page, trigger the page turn, and the top half of the next page appears. Then when you've made it past the turn, you hit it again

It doesn't matter which pedal you use - they all are just a key press to the application. It's the software that matters.

My personal favouritete pedals are the M-Vave ones, as they're built like tanks, and are the cheapest out there. I've had a page flip, and a couple of air turns and currently use an M-Vave Page Turn. I've also got an M-vave Chocolate but decided I don't need 4 pedals.

The Joyo JSP-01 works well with my Kindle Fire, and says it is Mac compatible. Dirt cheap too. You can program the two pedals to perform whatever action you like. I use one to scroll down and the other to turn the page.

You can delete all the garbage after the "?" -- it's all just tracking and telemetry, so you're working unpaid for amazon at that point. Just this will work (and as an added bonus isn't tracking you around the internet)

If you have forScore Pro (the paid version, inexpensive), you can turn pages by using facial expressions:

Face Gestures:​

If your device supports face tracking, you can use facial gestures to turn pages—by turning your head, by winking, or by moving your lips to the left or right. Choose whichever mode works best for you and adjust its sensitivity in the forScore Pro section of forScore’s settings panel, if needed. For best results, ensure that there’s sufficient lighting and, if using mouth movements, take advantage of the automatic calibration method for easy setup.​

I'm gonna buy it too: I've got the pdf version of the Latin Bass Book (Oscar Stagnaro) and there are half pages here and there, or only 8 bars, or the exercise starts at the bottom of the page, well you name it... would like to bring back my tumbao's rudiments, I've been lazy lately with those on some latin jazz standards.
