God knows what it's about, the music is pretentious and the 'concept' illogical but I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!

My entry is Wang Chung. Those guys were actually very decent songwriters, and there were some real heavy players on the last album. Unfortunately, that one song, plus a perhaps ill-chosen name, defined them.

Not of the top of my head; refresh my memory.
I only pick it because it was pure "pop radio" back then, but a really cool, flowing tune. I've got the album and there's some really great tunes on there.

Man-O-War. They appear to be in on the joke though, and that makes them even better.
Rammstein. I can't get enough of these guys. They've clearly got a sense of humor about the whole thing, and I just plain get a huge kick out of their music and stage presence.
