What if McCartney was right handed?
Pacman never ends by the way, just like tetris. It stops getting faster after like the 20th level.Oh, great!! I suppose you've also solved the mystery of the Incas, the riddle of steel, how to beat Pacman, who shot JFK?
Spoilsport!
Like a woman, the world needs a little mystery left to it!!!
I guess the Kingsmen were just recording the result of their first beers!
(all the above meant with full tongue in cheek sarcasm, of course!)
In other forums we use purple to signify sarcasm, I'm trying to start that here......reduces misunderstandings. Cheers!![]()
This!!!!
Mind = blownBut what if they went to 12?
What if the older studio musicians in Los Angeles had been willing to play rock and roll before the Wrecking Crew was brought in?
Ha, this thread just reminded me, I wrote a never ending funk jam called "what if" a long time ago. Me and my kid sing it on road trips. Hahaha, really pisses my wife off. Haha. It's so Stuuupid. Hahaha. You start by going, "what if..." (any random thing you can possibly imagine) pause..."What If?" (Vocals horns and bass) hahaha. We keep that thing going for hours off and on. Hahaha. StuuupidI'm a rehabilitated comic nerd and Marvel used to have a series called What if? It would take pivotal moments in Marvel history and extrapolate different outcomes based on one thing happening differently, like what if Doctor Doom became the Sorcerer Supreme instead of Doctor Strange or what if that spider had bitten someone other than Peter Parker.
Anyway, I always wondered what would have happened if Les Claypool had gotten the gig when he auditioned for Metallica after Cliff Burton's death? I can't imagine that And Justice For All sounds remotely the same, the Garage Days 2 probably wouldn't be that different though. Would we never have heard of Faith No More or Infectious Grooves as Metallica would have overshadowed those bands with a new sound that was similar to theirs? We would almost surely have been without Primus and then who knows how many fewer bass players there would be in the world today had that happened.
You folks have any that you've always pondered?
What if there's an enormous group of galaxies inside Leland Sklar's beard?
What if Jimmy Hoffa is hiding in the beard?
What if Leland is a Soul Reaver who sucks the talent out of everyone he works with, and the beard is just a storage vessel, holding that surplus of talent for the day when, highly improbably, he needs just a little more talent??
What's a Soul Reaver? Is that like a funky beaver or something? Or what if his beard was made of really old tort? What if there's an enormous group of galaxies inside Leland Sklar's beard?

But many less GREAT basses...come on man! Priorities!![]()

Or even before that, what if Eric had played safe and just stayed as a sideman to John Mayall for the rest of his career? How many other top guitarists would never have had their break? What if Fleetwood Mac would have remained a blues rock band?
I think about this one often! Imagine Zep as a 2-guitar band with a much more soulful vocalist! Probably fewer Hobbits as well. What if Terry Reid had accepted Jimmy Page's offer to be the vocalist for Led Zeppelin?
