What if Hitler had joined a Klezmer band and been content to play the clarinet for the rest of his life?

Instead of hating Jews, he would have hated Bass players because they take too much sonic real estate in the band.

Well played sir!

I always wonder what Yes would sound like if I had gotten the gig instead of Billy Sherwood stepping in at the last minute...

Considering that not even Jon Anderson is no longer in the band (and he's the only surviving original member!), I would only be in the best Yes cover band on the planet, and not really Yes!

Bill Bruford and Tony Kaye are both still alive.

What if Robert Johnson hadn't sold his soul to devil? Would people even play guitar still? Would american culture and values have been able to topple the Soviets and win the Cold War? Would an exposed ankle on a lady still be considered highly erotic?

And yup. Knights in six!!!!

What if Eddie and Alex got along just fine with David Lee Roth? Would we have ever heard of Billy Sheehan and Steve Vai? Well, most of us would have. Gary Cherone fits in here too somehow, but I can't think of anything nice to say about that.

What could have happened with a lot of late 70s Funk and R&B bands if they weren't caught in the backlash of the Disco Sucks riot.

But Disco did suck and drove me out of the business back in the late 70s. In fact, that it sucked so bad is the reason I’m playing it today because most of today’s bassists don’t get it. They are either root pounders, or slap happy, and can’t land the groove. Of course, we aren’t doing Ring My Bell, but the Earth Wind & Fire covers are a blast.

What if Mase Windu would have killed Palpotine (Emperor) in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, and the Jedi all lived?

What if David Lee Roth got along better in Van Halen and those 4 original members made more albums.
What if Michael Anthony actually taught Eddie how to play
