I thaught about getting the Earnie Ball Stingray but the sterling seems better for me.
Im planning on moving to a 5 string soon.
I play mainly Rock and Metal.

Is The Sterling as good as the populer Stingray?
What's the price of this guitar?
Do you recomend it?

If you like the EBMM sound and feel (growly and powerful), it would be a great bass.

Very much like the Stingray 5, but has a slimmer body, and most likely will weigh less. Both are excellent for rock and metal. Most people I suspect, if blindfolded, would not be able to tell between a Stingray sound and a Sterling sound. Hope I didn't open a big can of worms.

It's funny, for years I thought there was a distinct difference between the two, then I made some recordings of each, did a little two card monte, and couldn't tell them apart either.
