Hi guys!
You all seem to know a lot about Musicman basses, so I was wondering if you could answer a question for me:
I have found a site that sells a Musicman Stingray with the 2-band EQ. The site offers a wide range of colours, but i was wondering what colour the pickguard would be? If I were to order a bass in white, with a rosewood fingerboard, would the pickguard be white or black, as I have seen both in pictures?

Not quite that much. Pre-EBs in very good shape (according to Vintage Guitar Magazine) are worth about $3K. The ones you see for sale are about the same price. I know this because I'm constantly prowling for the right one.
