I have two stingrays.

2003? Lava Pearl (redish/orange) V string.
It's the best coverband, praise and worship bass hands down.


and 2007 Natural Sunburst (tobacco burst) IV string.
On board EQ is the best tool with dealing with inconsistent stage and house sound.
This has been my go to bass in 2008.

I did have another (late 90s black IV string), but sold it.

Not to brag but I think I very well could have 2 of the best looking Stingrays ever made!

I have owned 7 or 8 EB basses over the years and now am down to just 2. A 2007 LE and 30th Anniversary.

My Stingray is by far the best 4-string I ever owned. Thrilled with it. Amazingly responsive tones. So much better than either my P-bass or my Rick (sold the Rick).
