I'm the original owner. She's seen thousands of miles, hundreds of gigs, even did some recording with her at the Power Station back in the day. She's since been retired from active duty. The neck is flamed maple with some really nice figuring.

I love my SR5HH... my back is not as enthusiastic

I've been thinking of trading it for a lighter Bongo 5HH or Sterling 5HH

Mine weighs 10lbs.

Any thoughts?

I think they all sound good and I can get the sound I shoot for out of each of them.

That bass is perfect on so many levels: 2eq, beautiful maple-and glossed too, and mute bridge, great color. Absolute lovely bass dude!

The other models may be slightly lighter. If your Stingray has the sound you love, why not consider investing in a quality strap before swapping basses? If that doesn't resolve it, get yourself another sweet EBMM.
