Anyone have both of these pedals?
I have the Musket and am finding it a little too in your face, and while it is good by itself I find it gets lost in the mix.
I was wondering if the Duality will more to my liking.
I already have a You're Doom that I love for a more synthy fuzz.

Can anyone compare the two for me?

I've had a Musket and have a Duality on the way (after listening to all the demos).

When you say the Musket is too in-your-face, at least that pedal has a gain control to back it down. The Duality just blends between two different styles of fuzz which are both kinda in-your-face also. Sounds like the Duality is more harmonically rich though with plenty of mids, so should do well in a band mix.

If you want a fuzz that excels at low to medium gain, then check out the Team Awesome Fuzz Machine and Malekko Diabolik. Both of these also have insane amounts of gain on tap, but also sound great when dialled down, with the TAFM being more smooth and mellow, and the Diabolik more 'squelchy'. The Amptweaker Tightfuzz is a good bet too.

Interesting. I have a Musket, and it's neither in my face nor lost in the mix. Settings are key. I have the Focus dialed for minimal clipping of the low end, Mids set generously, Pre almost off and Fuzz around 8 o'clock, if that helps for reference.
