Mustang Bass building drawings

You might find it on this german website, they have a ton of drawings. I saw mustang guitar plans, not sure about bass. The Fender website has a buch of drawing too, check there as well.

Fender used to have just about every year and every model as high quality pdfs in their service diagrams area, but it looks like they have removed them from their site.
I was looking for Mustang plans as well and found this.

Excellent! That's one of the pdfs from the Fender service diagrams link I mentioned above.
You can find a direct link to many specific bass models by using Google search with the model you are searching for and adding FMIC ASSETS to the end of your search terms. It appears that they are still viewable but no longer linked for public consumption on the official website.

I should probably find those Fender PDF's for all the standard bass patterns and download them while it's still possible. I was able to convert that mustang PDF into a CAD block using the PDFIMPORT command in Acad 2018. They come in PERFECTLY, but at no scale. If you know the scale length, or any of the parts dimensions, I can re-size to scale and generate a dimensioned PDF, if anyone is interested.
Schweet! I just used @rudy4444 suggestion, entering "JAZZ BASS FMIC ASSETS" as a search term, and Bam! Right to it. These are ALL easily convertible to CAD drawings through PDFIMPORT, and then scalable. I've found the playing scale is the most accurate metric (17" from nut to center of 12th fret, for instance), but they have some very accurate details like the tuners, bridge, etc. that can also be used as scaling devices.

Since the PDF converted so easily, it's quick and easy for me to draw this up on CAD and export a full sized drawing to PDF. Stay tuned and I'll PM it to anybody who wants it as "an artistic wall hanging".
One request: can anyone Who's downloaded the Fender drawing tell me what model number the Hipshot Lollypop tuners are? They have excellent pdf drawings too, and the dimensions would be a good secondary scaling device.

Fender's work is protected, so be aware that importing and distributing any of these drawings could be considered infringement, and probably is looked upon as that by Fender. When you do a Google image search you can find tons of "wall art" that's obviously been done by converting Fender's PDFs. My guess is that's exactly why Fender has made efforts to make these less available, and rightfully so.
Anyone finding and downloading the pdfs may be doing so in violation on a personal level, but we probably shouldn't involve Talkbass is promoting their use.

Surely downloading the PDF's from a public website can't be construed as copyright infringement but….. nuff said. I may draw some "wall art" for my own amusement, which , as I understand it, violates nothing as long as no money changes hands and I'm not profiting from it somehow. It was freely available on their official website for YEARS. If that doesn't constitute Fair Use, I don't know what would.
Yeah, ditto here. In this litigious environment, probably best to just keep it to ourselves (which is all I really planned to do anyway).
I am a content creator and an unapologetic copyright Nazi. Downloading publicly available diagrams for personal use is not actionable copyright infringement.
